Graduates of the Bachelor of Business (Event Management) degree will have:

  • A broad and coherent knowledge of the theories, concepts, and principles of a range of business-related fields and disciplines including accounting, human resources management, economics, management, finance, and event management
  • A broad and demonstrated knowledge and awareness of business practice and event industry standards and expectations
  • Knowledge of contemporary business and event industry ethics, codes of practice, and corporate governance standards
  • Cognitive skills to undertake basic business and event industry research and to analyse and evaluate new information, concepts and evidence from a range of business and event industry, and academic sources
  • Cognitive and technical skills to facilitate problem solving and critical thinking in a business environment, and to present reasoned arguments and analysis of key business and event industry technical data
